Rome

This is, hands down, my favorite spot in Rome.  It is Campo dei Fiori, and every morning we were in Rome, I walked around, absorbing.  There is no where in the world like it.
Fiori (flowers)--
Ortaggi (vegetables)--and the fountain that has been flowing for 5 centuries.
 Cured meats and cheeses--

Spezie (spices)--
Trimming carciofi (artichokes)
 Spada (sword)--

Naples--Italy

I wish I had taken more shots of the city--it was indescribable!  Bustling, crowded, exciting, alive--ancient and new all at once.  I think I was just taking it in and forgot to take photographs.
This was taken from the balcony of the National Archaeological Museum; it is the upper part of the Galleria Principe di Napoli, built 1876-1883 as a commercial center.  The dome of Santa Maria di Constantinopoli is visible on the left.  Below is a look inside the Galleria.
The only other city scenes I captured...
And please forgive the final one, which I believe was from a moving bus!!
