I wish I had taken more shots of the city--it was indescribable! Bustling, crowded, exciting, alive--ancient and new all at once. I think I was just taking it in and forgot to take photographs.
This was taken from the balcony of the National Archaeological Museum; it is the upper part of the Galleria Principe di Napoli, built 1876-1883 as a commercial center. The dome of Santa Maria di Constantinopoli is visible on the left. Below is a look inside the Galleria.
